Chris Crust loves skateboarding and hanging out with friends! But sometimes his anxiety gets the best of him. Luckily, future Chris has learned how to time travel and comes back to assure himself that it’s going to be okay and he isn’t alone. Watch this episode of Time Travelling Pizza above!
In this episode, Chris Crust is worried about the future (and the present) as he scrolls through his phone. Will things ever get better? Chris’s future self shows up to comfort him, but his answers aren’t that simple: things will get better, but sometimes they’ll get worse, too. There will be bad times and GREAT times, but dwelling on what may go wrong won’t change the future; it will just make you feel bad no matter what ends up happening!
If you feel uncertain about the future, you are not alone in your struggle. Remember that it’s normal to feel the impact of anxiety and uncertainty, especially as the world around us changes. Even if you can’t talk to yourself from the future, you can still find someone to discuss your feelings with. A friend, parent, or trusted teacher can help you recognize and cope with your fears and anxieties.
