Dr. Michel Dugas is Professor of Psychology and Director of Clinical Training at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. Over the past 30 years, he has conducted research on the aetiology and treatment of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). His research program has led to the development and validation of a cognitive-behavioural treatment for GAD that is used in numerous countries.
He has published over 120 peer-reviewed articles and made over 350 scientific conference presentations. Dr. Dugas is a Fellow of the Canadian Psychological Association and the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies.
