Arianne Andary joined Anxiety Canada as a Youth Ambassador in 2022. Her own experiences with anxiety and those shared by her peers encouraged her to become involved in mental health advocacy and reduce the stigma surrounding anxiety, especially in teens. She hopes to spread awareness and normalize therapy and other anxiety treatments so those her age can better their mental health.
Arianne graduated from École secondaire catholique l’Essor in Tecumseh, Ontario in 2023. She is currently studying at the University of Windsor in the Concurrent Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of English Language and Literature program with a minor in Child Psychology.
She hopes to later achieve a Master’s degree and become a high school English teacher. Her love for writing and teaching has led her to work as a freelance tutor in her community, as well as a teaching assistant in many schools around Windsor, Ontario.
When not in school, Arianne is often found at the piano, with her nose in a book, or in her bedroom writing poetry. A self-proclaimed lifelong learner, she hopes to continue learning Spanish, new musical instruments, and new ways to better her mental health and those around her.
