For 35 years, Bruce MacKenzie has been founding and building businesses. He has also volunteered with several nonprofit organizations including serving on the board of The Kelty Patrick Dennehy Foundation and co-founding OCDbc.
Bruce has personally witnessed the impact of anxiety, depression, and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). After his father was killed in a helicopter accident, his brother had depression and died by suicide. His son, Justin suffered from anxiety and OCD during his childhood.
Inspired by the courage of Justin who has battled and now successfully manages his OCD and anxiety, Bruce joined Anxiety Canada in 2024. He is passionate about helping Anxiety Canada continue to expand and improve access to early diagnosis and proven care and treatment for anxiety and related disorders.
